WIRED (Women Interested in Renewal, Education, and Discovery) is for women of all ages. You need not be a member of St. John’s to attend. We hold three large gatherings each year. Small groups meet based on special interests.
All of these groups are open to all women. Please e-mail the facilitator to let her know of your interest and get more information.
Event details are published in church publications, church website and email.
Karen Zaabel, ; Carol Lunde, ; Sarah Thorn, ; Susan Ging, ; Kathy McIntyre, ; Heidi Pollmann, ; and Julie Faas, .
If you have suggestions or know someone who would be a good speaker for any of these WIRED gatherings that would be of interest to women, please let one of the planning team know.
Interested? If you are interested in WIRED please e-mail Karen Zaabel at or any of the WIRED Planning Team above to let us know of your interest.
Women of the ELCA: We are a WELCA group, although we do not use the WELCA name. (All congregations in the Synod with active women's groups are members of WELCA.)
A La Carte is a single women's group that's open to ladies of all ages, and the best part is that it's a "come when you can" kind of thing, so no need to worry if you can't make it every time! We meet up once a month at different spots after worship. If you're interested in attending or have any questions, you can RSVP to Susan Ging at .
It's a great way to connect with other women and have a fun time!
